It was at this conference Alex was offered the opportunity to become part of the TransApex projects eventually leading the Airport Link Reference Design.
A lot has happened since the RETC conference in Seattle in 2005. The Sonics moved to Oklahoma, the Phoenix Suns won the Western Conference Finals and Alex has bought lots of basketball shoes.
